Strange events
Yesterday i decided to run some see foam through the old truck again. I put some in and let it sit and started it up. To my surprise no smoke. I have used this on several vehicles before and have never had one not smoke after using it. So then I adjusted the timing and went for a test drive. It was running great then the oil pressure started fluxuating. then it went to zero and started hearing a lifter tapping( I awesome it was a lifter). I limped it back home and started checking some stuff.
After setting for a bit I found I had set the timing wrong. Fixed that and started it back up. Now it had oil pressure the lifter had quitened down. I think the seafoam leaked down in the oil and loosened up something and it got sucked up through the oil pump and then passed on through. Drove it today and it was running great.
Any ideas? comments?
