hawaiian style...you're all going to hate me

i understand that this is something people are either going to love or hate. dont think i could ever bring myself to do this to my truck but something about it looks good to me. opinions/pictures anyone? (i apologize to those who believe in only using their trucks for work and functionality as i know this thread will probably cause your blood to boil)

My Mom would be upset if I commented. She said "if you can't say something good, don't say anything".

It looks like a Monster truck that was just unloaded from it's hauler and hasn't had the correct tires mounted on it yet.

I think that looks like crap. Tires too small and sticking out too much. The pic with the smoke looks kind of stupid to me. But each to his own.

I think it looks great. I think a ram air hood would make it look even better. Nice pics.

Please get some tires that are the right size or lower your truck. It looks terrible imo

When i was on the Big Island last year i noticed alot of the trucks (not all) and mostly toyotas go this route. Why i dont know. They seem to love the wide tire outside the fender look.

Wait, this thread isn't about pizza?

Well, now I do hate you.. lol

As for the truck, yikes! In dire need of larger meats, needs 38-40's at least from what I can tell on my phone...

Just got back from Honolulu saw lots of trucks set up this way is there a reason? I was wondering if it was something to do with sand?

Sand between the ears?

I guess it goes back to "different strokes for different folks".

on an island that small if you put big tires on, you would rarely get out of first gear unless you regeared. i don't know if 513 would even be enough for the low speed that they generally travel at. they do certainly need the flotation on the beach. i rented a stock 2 door 4x4 jeep wrangler and 10 feet into dry sand it was getting into trouble

Maybe it reminds them of the outriggers on their canoes?
