e-fans wont turn off

I put my e -fans on about 5 months ago, and now they fans run continuous after the truck is turned off. Where should I start looking to fix the problem?

I would start with all the wiring and switches maybe one is stuck in an on position or has become crossed with something else.

If wired with a relay the relay has probably stuck. Give it a light tap and see if they turn off.

Did you use a controller or build your own?

I'm also interested in what e-fans you installed? I've been looking into this with my 04 as well. What type of controller are you using. I would go back and check your wiring and relays.

Im using everything from perma-cool. I checked the connections everything looks fine. I turned the temp all the way up on the controller and they still stay on. the kit came with a fuse that runs to the battery but not a relay. They worked flawless for the last five months.

I would contact Perma-Cool. Are they still under warranty?

well, friday the fans worked fine no problems. Saturday after driving for a while I noticed my temp guage was on "H", so I turned the truck off and checked the inline 30 amp fuse for the fans. It was melted and my temp control box was out. I'm going to replace the control box and run a relay this time. Is there anyway to run the fans with keyed power only instead of constant power from the battery or does it matter since im going to run a relay? Oh by the way the fans are rated at 10 amps each. The fan instructions said to run a relay if the fans were above 20 amps, so I didnt bother the first time.
