I've got a 96 F-250 SD with a one ton rear end. It's a 2WD, but I really want to make it a 4WD. I love this truck. I know that it would be more economical to just by another one, but I wanted to toy with the idea of possibly converting it to 4WD. maybe buying a junk truck and swaping. Anyone have any suggestions or advice in this department? I'm not a mechanic, but I can do the work...and I have a friend that's a diesel mechanic so I do have some help if I need it.
