Hey I am from Alberta, Canada and have just one question, From what I have researched Ford Switched from Speed Density to MAF as early as 90's in their half-ton models, Ive looked ALL OVER where i live and cannot find ANY MAF style trucks here, they all seem to have Speed Density systems all the way up to 96, which is where they switched to their new Body Style (97).
Heres the question, I've collaborated all the parts I need to do the MAF conversion, BUT the stock MAF sensor for the 5.0 302..... Since the inline 6 has close to the same displacement, it in theory, SHOULD have the same or close to the same size of MAF sensor... I can find lots of the inline 6 with MAF sensors, can I wire in the 5.0 computer and harness, and run the MAF sensor from the inline 6???
