Under tonneau lighting

Anyone running LED's in the bed? I really like the Recon LED bed lights but I don't like the price.
Any alternatives out there?
I've got a SB covered with an Extang trifecta.

Thanks All

I used 2 pairs of computer cold cathode lights to light the bed. Works great and very cheap.

I have a built Rubi and have been looking at genright.com for things, they have these LED Rock Lights lite spots that can be screwed in but also have a magnet to attach them, they look bright and I am thinking about putting them under the jeep and the super duty to light up around my truck. Not a bad price and 2 will definitely light up the whole bed.

I really like this idea!!!

So, you run two on each side of the bed?
Did you mount them under the bed rails?
How did you wire them? -- What turns them on?
Vibration doesn't seem to be an issue I guess?
Can you post up some pics? light/dark
thanks!!!

Even if I were to piece something together with RS parts, I don't think it'd be cheaper than the computer lights. It seams to be the cheapest solution.

i have used 4 12v land scape lights thay where half round and i used a 12volt toggle switch for on and off. two on one side will make day light. all you need is some two sided tap (3m) and some low voltage wire. it all ran me $25 in parts and a day in the beer frig or i mean garage. i jumped off the 7 pin plug for power and just grounded to the frame. i will put up pics soon if any one wants.

Yeah, I'd like to see some pics. That'd be great.
