Anyone have a shoehorn and a hot blue knife
just setting up engine to see where I need to adjust next
not going to cut anything yet until I get my headers to see
just how I'm going to get the engine to sit right
its pretty BIG
Thanks for all the positive comments
Jeff

Wow that really looks clean. I guess I have not idea how that motor mounts. Do you buy factory rubber/metal apparatus that bolts into
the side of the block? And then somehow make a custom bracket to the frame?

Ya those things are always tight, but at least you don't have to get around the OEM steering box. Although I've got a 460 in my 58 with block hugger Sanderson Headers it had plenty of room on the steering box side, but the passenger was really tight up against the frame as the collector flange butts up tight against it.

More of a concern with my 460 C6 was how to get the motor up where I wanted it etc and have enough room for the tranny to clear the inspection cover in the floor etc. I forget just now, but you've got a C4 tranny? I guess that gives you more room. And its nice with the Mustang 2 I guess you dont' have any oil pan clearance issues uh?

Looking good

Actually the pan is touching on the curve of the sump on the rear of crossmember so I think I'm going to notch it to be able to drop the engine down a little more.
Also going with Sanderson headers just havent ordered them yet
The stock mounts are plates with rubber isolator not sure if I can use them yet but I do have them from the Navigator

Quick question

I like what you're doing with your truck. I have a1957 F-100 and I was wondering what paint you used on the frame?

Hi everyone well been pretty busy at work so not alot of time for the truck but just a couple of update pics test fitting the booster to close in the stock master cylinder hole so I had to move it to the clutch hole in the firewall I still working out the pedal setup for this , but I will make it work out and today went to the wrecking yard and found a seat I liked just need to change the mounts a little but it fits great.
Thanks Jeff

Thanks,
also an update on the brake pedal assembly as you can see in some of the photos above I had to move the booster over to the clutch hole in the firewall so I came up with this idea to keep the brake pedal in the stock location and push the booster.
Then i took it to Kenny's Rod shop to have it all tig weld together all the parts using the OE pedal onto the new shaft using the OE nylon bushings on the stock bolt for the brake and clutch pedals
