Talking Tuner questin

Hey guys

i have Innovative Diesel tunes for my truck now. since ARP head studs are going in with a fuel system, can anyone tell me if there is much difference in
SAFE tunes vs All out tunes ? is the difference worth the money......?

and Who would you guys go with i was thinking getting race tunes from Innovative Diesel,Elite Diesel ,Diesel innovations , any other ones ?

Let me know which tunes you liked and why ?....

thanks for your input...

Peter

I have Street, Xtreme Street, Tow with Jake brake. I like the Xtreme Street drives like stock until you go past halfway with the pedal then look out! I do not like the fact that it revs a little higher than stock, wish it shifted sooner at WOT at a lower RPM! Haven't used the Tow yet, but the street is good just a little less power than Xtreme Street!

As far as who to go to.... do your research and searches here to see who most use and their experience....
I've tried a few and keep going back to innovative because of issues with others...

and honestly, I don't recall the arbitrary NAMES given to the tunes....
but THINK the difference between some of the tunes (other than fueling, etc) is the locking of the torque convertor in all gears ????
so I would suggest you spend the minimum on a good street tune for your truck and the mods you've done to it.... talk to your tuner and tell them what you've done to it... guarantee you will be happy for a while....

At a minimum I would suggest you at least open up our exhaust with a good flow thru muffler to keep egt's down if you are going to tune it.... others will suggest you HAVE to have other things.... but that's all I had done 100k miles ago when I tuned mine...

then when you further identify what you want, spend the $75 to $100 down the line for the exact tune you want.... no way for us to know what YOU want, all we can say is what we want

ill call Innovative and Elite to get some kick A$$ tunes, that will give me the most with mods i have....
