I took this rig off the road in 1972. Has sat outside uncovered 1963 to now. And it shows. Someone stole the radiator, fan and ign switch.
50 or 60K on it . It got 19 to 20 mpg as I recall (6cyl) (3 colum)

It looks pretty good for being stored outside for decades. Do you have both of those black field/yellow lettered license plates? I guess that was the year of manufacture colored plate? I get the plate colors/years mixed up . I see you have both the front and rear. Those are "collectable" for sure. People will just have replica's made and keep the originals, etc, or along that line. Especially if you still have the DMV/title etc that shows those as the current plates etc.

So what are your plans? Are you gonna "bring it back to life"?

Plates are orig. Smashed up due to pushing cars, equipment around etc.
I have the registrations,titles....somewhere.
Plans...well plans are cheap. I have other projects and have kinda lost interest in projects. So I dunno. Id like to recon it and use it occasionally.

The Black Plate w/ Yellow Letters/Numbers were the '63 issue, so these are the 2nd set of plates on the Olde girl.
The '56 issue Yellow plate w/ Black Letters/Numbers would have been the 1st set of plates issued.

All I know is What the State of California has on the Law Books, what it States in the Upper Right Hand Corner of the Plate itself (yellow/black '56 & black/yellow '63) & what every License Plate Collector has ever Told me.
