I didn't remember mine being that bad either. Then i went out and looked at it and I'll be darned if it was really crooked. LOL. I had to adjust mine most the way out. It sucked, but it had to happen. It's still not perfect, but pretty close.

I installed HID replacement bulbs, but no ballast. My headlight appear whiter now. Any problems that you know of by not installing the ballast? Just checked, my bulbs aren't HID, just Ultra bulbs that "give the same light as HID"

Nope you should be fine with that setup, just not as much light output as HID's I'd guess.

I talked to a fellow with a nice quad cab.

He said when He replaced his that the light mounts didn't work quite the same for the top corner marker, and it was harder to adjust the lights because of this.

Is that how yours were setup Chase?

Sorry my explanation sucks. I know what he's talking about when he showed me, but I can't quite explain it right. Had something to do with how the whole unit fit together and then mounted in the truck compared to the stock way.

Looks cool. I was driving in front of someone who had these the other night and found it to be very annoying.

I have heard those silverstar ultra bulbs do not last very long at all. especially if you use them off road. any one else hear this?

I heard complaints about the Silverstars when I worked in auto parts a few years ago. I think the biggest problem is people not knowing how to properly install a halogen bulb (getting oil from their hands on it).
