My name in Tim and am new to this, so here goes. I have a 2005 F250 6.0 with a little over 100k miles. I first started having this problem about a month ago and changed the filters and it went away. Just got back from a trip. On the way back to FL noticed the rough running at low RPM again. I changed the filters again and cleaned the ERG I think that's what its called. No luck. I have not had the truck scaned, but no lights on the dash. The oil cooler was changed about a year ago. I have read some of the post talking about simular problems, but just don't know where to go next. Thanks for any help given.

 

I had a similar problem and took my 04 to the dealer. Once again racked up a nice bill for a FICM that went out. $1315 later.....

 

Thanks for that. I had the truck scaned this morning and was advised the # 8 injector was bad. I have got the valve cover off and holly crap what to do now! Still looking for help.
