Thanks guys, it's very much appreciated. I was told by a friends wife to not do anything foolish and my reply was I didn't feel like doing anything sensible, so I'll be doing what the doc orders and my wife commands. Hope all of you are making great progress on your trucks as I'm willing to let mine sit by it's lonesome for awhile. Will be checking in more as the days go by.

Prayers go out to you and yours. My dad went through it about 4 years ago and now he acts like he's 30 again. Plus you'll have plenty of time to think about all the other things you want to do to your truck.
GOD BLESS.

56panelford,

Glad to hear your home. It will do nothing but get better. Just remember to ask for help lifting things, I still do. That part takes a while. What happen to me was not a common thing.

Finally got back to work on my panel

It's been just over 10 weeks since my surgery and the last couple days I've been out in the shop eyeing up my panel. It's kind of hard getting back into the swing of things. I started to copy the tilt hood kit I bought for my panel so I'll have a kit made when I do my pickup and I plan on copying the hanging brake pedal also while these things are still off the panel, doing this because they're light jobs for now and should save me some cash in the future. Today however I decided to change my drop spindles to the newer drop spindles the CPP is now offering for the chev frame I did the swap with, they bring the wheels in an 1 1/8" on both sides and eliminates the tire rub issue I had. When I get back to work which should be in the new year I'll be able to start looking for some rims with the proper off set. When I do get back into the swing of things I might figure out where I left off, lol.

Glad to hear you did well. It seems like they have bypasses down to a pure science now. Almost like a drive thru window.

You can say that again, the surgery ward was like an assembly line.
