Questions about a Borg Warner 1356 that was in my 1993 F150 4x4
Ok I am putting a new clutch in my 1993 f150 4x4 5.0 and it has a BW1356 T-Case, While it is out im going to take the back (or front) housing off to check the chain, I have never done this before so Im a little weary of it. So heres the questions,
1. Which side should I take off Front or Back
2. Is there anything to be extra careful with as Im seperating the housing
3. Is anything just going to fall out of the housing when I seperate it besides gear oil
4. What kind of gear oil do I put back in it
5. Ive heard there is a way to secure the fluid pump with a self tapping screw is it recommended?
6. If it is recommended how do I do it and is there any pictures of it being done.
7. What does the vacume line do to comming off of the T-Case
I will be very grateful with and information or advise Thank Yall in advance.
