What is this plug and where does it go?

Hi, The picture attached is of a plug I found under my hood while replacing a coolant hose. It isn't hooked up to anything. Should it be? I can't find its mate.
It is on a 90 F150 5.0 near the drivers side of the distributor on top of the intake. It is not the timing Jumper for the distributor, but it is near it.

Ok, not sure how to include picture.......
It is a black connector with red plastic trim with two wires coming out of it. Looks like it has two prongs it plugs into. The plug housing is male, with female inserts for prongs.

Another vote for the AC. Its probably unplugged because the AC doesn't work.

Just went out and looked at my 88, that IS the AC plug. The IAC plug is similar but much fatter and on the passenger side rather than the driver's side.

I'm getting a code 52 and 44 on the KOER. Could these be related?

I dont know if the AC plug would have anything to do with those codes to tell the truth...plug it in and see what pulls up but I doubt itll matter. Someone on here is bound to know for sure tho.

I still don't see where to plug this in. Its only on about 6 in of wire, so it can't be far.
If someone could post a picture where it goes, that might help.

The AC works. The only wiring harness mentioned in Haynes is the clutch switch. I wouldn't think the A/C would work without this plugged in. Maybe it goes to the power steering below, hence code 52? Engine has been stalling when I have the A/C on, and apply the brake and turn wheel (like taking an exit ramp).
