Don't know the miles but it was after a test drive by a customer. The salesman was going over some of the features in the truck while it was idling and just stopped and never restarted.

I have just bought my f-250 3 weeks ago. How would I know I have Cam problems? I have only 250 miles on truck . I just love it , this issue just makes me sick to hear.

Makes you sick? This just shows that cab off isn't necessary to me. I'm feeling all kinds of warm and fuzzy . That's what the warranty is for.

Come on, did we really think that 100% of these trucks were going to be trouble free. Hasn't happened to the 10 or so vehicles I've owned in the last 20 years. This truck is only one of, im sure, many out on the roads. Good thing is that it had a short trip to the Service Department.

LOL, I'm well aware of new equipment breaking down. I'm an elevator constructor . I'm just excited cab off repair isn't a necessity for every failure.

one bad part, doesnt make me worried at all..

Toyota had a whole crap load of Camshaft failures on its new Tundra truck, but it didnt stop them from making more of the same engine...

problem parts from suppliers happen...

it is odd to see that engine getting torn down at the dealer thou.. i heard all/any engine problems with the 6.7 were taken back to the lab for examination...maybe that phase is over...

I think i'd be more pissed if I saw all of my accessories laying on the frigin' dirty floor uncapped. They are just introducing more problems due to contamination when all of that stuff is reinstalled.

What do they say on the ESPN Monday Night Football show....

C'MON MAN!

Thanks for the pictures... I'm a little surprised this issue wasn't caught in the factory since I thought they ran these engines in the factory.
