I am heading to my buddies salvage yard to look for some treasure.

Then I will be coming home and working on the 56 f100 or one of the other projects.

Good thing that the sun is back again!!!!!!

 

I am jealous you Are going to the salvage yard and double jealous you have a buddy that owns it.
I am looking for Some v code front superduty springs or f250. Superduty diesel front springs to put into my 96 f250. If you see some find out the price if you don't mind.

 

What yard is that?

 

He has only had one superduty in the last few years. I will keep an eye out for you though!

Good afternoon Rhode Island!!!

 

So I ended up getting 3 innie rims off a 59 is ford. It appears that two may be wider then the third. I am heading to my other buddies house to swap the bias ply tires over to the new/used tires I also grabbed from the salvage yard. I hope the fourth rim I have off the 56 is the same width as the thrid rim or I will have to go back and try to find another narrow rim.

More to come after I dismount the old tires!

 

I don't know Arthur personally, but a bunch of people I'm friends with know him I usually go to Henry's though.

Heading out for the morning coffee and a stop at the parts store for some valve stems for My new/used rims and tires!

Then plug away at the 56 some more!

Another Great NE day!

Worked all day on the 56 F100. Did some wiring, installed marker light lenses, sanded and painted the new rims/tires, filled the radiator, ran the truck throught the gears on jack stands and mocked up the bed for new crossmembers.

Lets all hope we get lots and lots of great weekends like this!!!!!
