Gas in my diesel

I was have asleep when I put gas in my Diesel. I drove about 12 miles, maybe 13. I hope I just have to drain the tank (just one tank filled), bleed the lines, and replace the filter. But my question is, It won't start now. It has a small amount of diesel in the other tank but I'm assuming that there is gas in the lines now and it is to late to try to get it to run home, best just to tow it?

please have mercy on the apparently handicap this morning. Give me some guidance. Thank you.

What you said. Once you get diesel through the system you should be OK.

ya, i would drain the tank, unbolt and remove both fuel lines from the pump, blow the fuel back to the tank and remove the fuel filter. that will let any fuel in the supply line come down. would be a good idea to remove the little plate on the passenger side of the IP. its 2 small bolts, its the plate that covers the fuel screw. that holds a lot of fuel in there. will save you a lot of time to just drain that while your at it. would be a good idea to add some diesel kleen and or seafoam into your tank and filter before you try and fire it.

Id fill the second tank with diesel and drain the fuel filter and fill it with diesel, or some kind of cleaner, and see if you can get it to fire on the second tank

all of the above but would keep a close watch on all the rubber lines and o-rings for awhile as the gas may have softened them some.

don't forget john, his fuel lines are now full of gas too. That's gonna be enough to refill his filter with gas before diesel hits it. Atleast unhook the pressure line on the pump and crank it over til iesel comes out, then change the filter with diesel and kleen in it and fire it.
