2010 F150 Lift and Tire Questions

I am looking to get some bigger tires on my 2010 Ford F-150. Right now I have the stock 18" rims and tires. I really want to get something bigger and better for off road. My question is this, if I get 33" tires will I need a suspension lift? If so how big? Also will doing this affect my ability to tow a trailer or will I need to have the GR modified? I have the 3.55 Axle Ratio on my truck not sure if that makes any difference or not. Any help would be appreciated.

TIA

Joseph

you could fit 33s with no lift. with a level kit you could run 35's

I'd go with Rough Country's 2.5" front/1" rear lift. I've got 32's on my 09 xlt 4x4, and it's great. You'll want to get some grabber's, but not too big, because you'll want to have plenty of clearance in the wells. 33's would probably be good. Check it out. www.roughcountry.com.

I'm considering getting the exact same tires for my truck but it's got the 4.6 2V and i'm curious if it's going to affect my performance much since i have the smaller V8. I've got 3.73 gears, not sure if that's good or bad. any ideas?
