Chevy Tahoe seats in a 53-56

Has anyone used the 2nd row seats in a 53-56 F10; I have a good deal on some leather ones the color of my interior. I haven't seen them yet so I don't know the width; the guy said he would bring them near where I work so I can check them out. i know I will have to fab the mounting brackets.

Howdy,

I have never heard of anyone using the back seats from a Tahoe but I have heard of using the front split bench from a Suburban.

My plan is to use a split bench from a 2000+ Suburban in my 55 F-600 that has the shoulder harness integral with the seat....

We have a guy in our club who put the Tahoe middle seat in his '55. Fits perfect and the leather was exact color of his interior. Only downside is no adjustment front to back (unless you modify it). Hope this helps, Steve

I have 2007 3rd row seats from a Tahoe. They fit perfect. The width is perfect. Like an inch or so on either side if I can remember correctly. I like the middle shoulder belt. Leather is really nice. I don't know about the middle row seats or from what year you are looking but these fit the bill for me. The front of the seat sits flat on the floorboards. The rear kicks up a bit so you would need to fab up some square tubing or something to mount the rear of the seat. Not to difficult I would imagine. My steering wheel looks goofy in the pic as it is a telescoping column and it is fully extended.
