the wifes focus has 205,000 klicks on it and dont burn oil,,the engine is a little noisy, runs good for a 2001, replaced struts, bearings, breaks etc. has a few minor oil leaks which l cant find,replaced valve cover still no luck,,,,looks like the liberals "Daltun" is about to hit us good for propane, those small barbi tanks will double in price and maybe more all because of the toronto "Big Bang" a while ago,,,back to charcol eh

 

ouch, I hadn't heard about this one. Maybe time to run a Natural gas line to the BBQ?

What engine does your Focus have Gary? Mine has the DOHC Zetec, about 225k. Runs well, should really replace the timing belt before it drops a valve on a 5k rpm shift. I still really like the car, glad I didn't get a GM. And the engine burns really clean, never had any soot in the tailpipe ever, like most vehicles.

 

My daily driver is a 97 Escort Sport i have been told that it is a possibility.
**** happens no matter what you drive, we get lucky sometimes and not others.
I still would prefer to drive a vehicle that doesn't need e-test ect.
