'02 V10 Fuel rail removal?
Just another question,
Is there any trick/shortcut to getting the fuel rails out of the way to replace the injectors? It looks like it's a bit of a project to get at the back of the engine to remove the rails.
I did a quick test while I was messing around with other issues.
I took the 2 rail bolts of the passenger side and was able to lift the rail up enough to remove #1 through #4 injectors. When I got to #5 it felt like the rail might bend before it was out of the way enough to pull #5 out.
Any fuel rail / injector experienced fellows here have any insight into this?
Thanks,
Rick...

No trick...2 bolts on each side and pull up. If I remember correctly there not enough play to pull one side up without removing the bolts from the other side. Just remove all the hold-down bolts and pull up. You might need a helper to line up the injectors on the other side during installation. Keep us up to date on your progress.

Thanks for the input Mr P,
Sounds simple enough. I never thought of working both sides at the same time. I just figured both sides met at the rear and teed off at a secured point that might need to be loosened or removed to be able to lift the rails.
Hopefully the injectors show up soon. They seem to have been mis-placed by either USPS or Canada Post. They've been in the mail loop for nearly 3 weeks now.
