96 f-250 oil pan replacement
#17
I have done the pan on a 302, it can be done without pulling the motor. i had to disconnect the air intake, pull the fan shroud, unbolt the motor and transmission mounts. After that i was able to get the pan out. But it was a 89 f 150 with a 4 speed, not sure how much the transmission really matters. But i have also unbolted and disassembled the front end, and it was way worst. It is not a fun job but it can be done. Un bolting the exhuast would probably make it easier but i did it without it unbolted. it just takes some patience putting the new one in, because it will not just slide right it.
