Part # 15108 was the part # I was referring to. Looking at the illustration again I have to believe the resonators are all history. It looks like a real nice set up. Simple. I just wonder if there would be a noticeable tone difference from stock.

OK, I just checked out that number @the Magnaflow site; looks like a nice system, and oughtta sound pretty decent! I can't imagine it NOT sounding better than the stock system, with only a muffler (NO resonators!) getting in the way. And that's IF you like the Magnaflow sound.
I've always been a Flowmaster guy, but it's all a matter of one's taste in sounds. I WILL say, however, that I don't think Flowmaster has as nice a system out yet. Gotta go to the muffler shop and roll yer own to get rid of both resonators to do a Flowmaster.

Not gonna go back and try and find names and such, but to the one who posted the video, with muffler removed, did you see any gains, other than sound? I pull a horse trailer 33 ft long, and was just looking for a little more power, even tho it pulls fine now. I guess it is a guy thing, gimme more power, and cheap! I get 9-10 pulling this trailer loaded, 14-15 empty

Here's what I ended up doing with mine. No cel's, no drone under load, best tank MPG was 14.2 (per computer), work done about 6 months ago. No regrets, evil sound and less expensive than any kit out there.

3" SS bends from downpipe(s) to muffler

Mate to factory connections

Factory connections

Abandoned resonator

Muffler inlet side

Muffler outlet side

Notice the factory hangar points were retained on the new system, (rock solid), with a slight gain on ground clearance. Magna Flow X type, 22" muffler used, 3" in/out, SS.

Very slight increase in exhaust note @ idle, WOT is pure music, typical of the MagnaFlow design.

Has anyone tried either of the MagnaFlow kits?
One exits in front of the rear wheel and the other in the stock location
The 17142 says Off Road Pro Series

MagnaFlow Exhaust Products - For Trucks, Suv's, American Muscle, Diesel, & Sport Compact Vehicles

anyone know if the magnaflow kit will work on the 15' 6.2. Was the exhaust carried over from the previous years. I have emailed magnaflow and all they said was they hadn't had one in the shop to test fitment. I have a 15 on the way, and was just curious. thanks

Maybe I missed it but is there a P/N for the Magnaflow Y pipe? I have a new 2015 reg cab and trying to piece together duals out the back.

Just got my exhaust done today and i love it. Had the small resonator and the muffler cut off and just replaced with pipe. When cruising or just at an idle you can barely hear it but when you give it some gas it has a nice deep rumble. Its just loud enough without be obnoxious.

Got 4 different kits picked out and wanted to get any and all feedback from you guys. I am looking for a single out in the same location as stock. I have had Maggies, Flowmaster, and dB Performance on my half tons in the past and below I have compiled a list of the kits I am considering. I want 0 drone and a nice deep tone when I jump on the throttle. I don't really want anything obnoxious and it must be all SST.

DynoMax - 39056
dB Performance - 24390
Magnaflow - 19174
Gibson - 619657

I have searched all over Youtube and some videos help, but I think any firsthand experience would help.

Thanks!

Thought about going that route, but from what I have gathered in my research I really do not think that is what I want. And some of these kits are spendy especially since I want all SST..... If only pricing mirrored what the SST markets are doing right now....

Yep. Exactly what I did. Love it. Great sound, lots of compliments, and no drone.
