One Ford place here doesn't have any on their lot's another has 1 diesel and 3 gassers. They won't even call me back. Ford is doing well now and these guys can be tough to deal with. I might wait until next year to get into one when there is more stock and better incentives.

Buy stock or join EAA to qualify for x plan, sit down, order one how you like it and wait for it to be delivered... sounds simple...

So once I join EAA how long before I would qualify for a PIN? Sounds like the stock option might be quicker. My truck has a scheduled build date for the week of 8/30.

30 days for EEA x-plan benefit to kick-in (according to their website). If you need an X-plan PIN, go to www.blueovalnews.com, find the employees forum, then look for the X-plan PIN request forum. Good luck!

Thank You Champ198 Went to sight and discovered that you have to hold stocks for 6 months before qualifying for a PIN. Tried to join forum but site not working right now. Will try again later and see if someone has a PIN allocation that they are not using. Anyone here have one?

Thanks again.

I called customer service shortly after ordering the truck - the dealer told me I'd get X-Plan if I could get a PIN. I just told them what a great Ford customer I was and that I wanted X-Plan on a new purchase. She had a few questions about previous vehicles and then she verified some information - I know because she came back with info on a previously owned Ford that I hadn't mentioned. I also happen to hold a few shares of Ford and told her that but she didn't seem to pursue that avenue. She then submitted the application for me while we were on the phone and said that it would probably go through and that either way I would receive a call within a week. Within a week they called me back with a PIN. I had the PIN to the dealer a couple of weeks after ordering. I finally took delivery last night. The dealer had never checked the PIN and they apparently had trouble putting it in to the system or whatever it is that they do with it, but they eventually sorted it out and the deal went through as agreed. Good luck!

I got my $60K truck for $31K using the employee D plan after trading in my 08 fuelhog and getting a $2k incentive from Ford. Best part is the monthly payments remained the same

Broughton, Join the EAA (only $40/year and in 30 days you qualify for the x-plan. I just did the same, now have to hope to get the PIN before the truck arrives..
