I'm really partial to the 80-86 models, I had an '84 and an '86 and thought they were gorgeous.

My next favorite is when the '99 Superduties came out.

You need to separate the 92-96 F-series, from "present"

I have some favorites and not so favorites throughout the Ford lineage. By no means is this meant to slight others opinions on their favorites, this is not scientific in any means, just what I like. I'll start with the favorites:

'40 and '41 era pickups. Those classic body lines are a perrenial favorite.
'48 to '50 era pickups. My niece calls them the "Hello Kitty" grilled pickups, as the grill looks like Hello Kitty peeking out from under the hood and between the fenders.
'53 to '55 era pickups. Many will ask why not the '56; my reason is they were a 'half a loaf is better than none' compromise on the wraparound windshield that, to me, is a knee knocker. Also why I am not fond of the '57 to '60 era with the knee knocker windshield.
'92 to '96 era. The last of what I consider to be a great era in Ford trucks; the death of the 300 straight six and Windsors after the '96 production year.
2009 to present. Nicely integrated bodywork, smooth looking, and finally engines that are worthy of being in a Ford.

The only eras I am not fond of are the '57 to 60 mentioned above, the '87 to '91 "Brickmobiles", the '97 to '03 "plugspitters", and the '04 to '08. Others I could give or take on them; I really don't have a strong feeling either way on the dentsides or others.

I'm torn between the 56, and my bump 67, but I went with the 56. I just think that was a beautiful truck!

Personal favorite year is 1979. Always loved those.

I like the styling between 1967-1979 the best.

92-96........massive yet smooth lines, a real classic look that keeps looking better, while pick-ups as a whole are looking less than appealing in cosmetics.
