lexcoe is starting off with a positive reputation.
So i have a question...if a truck wasnt fitted with a heater, how were the louvres sealed so water etc didnt enter the cabin. I am guessing some sort of blanking panel? John

correct.. Mine was not, and there is a cover, which is held in place by the 4 screws.

MF sells a plastic cover
FRESH AIR DUCT COVER . . . . . . . . . . . . .1938 . . . . . . . .$29.95 ea.
New, made of Black ABS plastic, covers vent louvers from inside.

and also sells a filler to remove the louvers

LOUVER REMOVAL PATCH PANEL, curved to match cowl and
flanged for easy installation . . . . . . . . . .1903 . . . . . . . .$20.00 ea.

I hope to go out to the shop today.. 1st time since early February.. now that my knee is better..

clean & repair the rear axle diff leak (9in).. get the gas tank mounted & the lines hooked up.

the weather is also getting better for it Sam
last week there was a tornado neer your place ?

Now I am looking for some metal mall to get more room for my wheels in the bed

tornados 180 miles north.. so not near..

I bought my tubs from Suicide doors..

Wheel Tubs | thorbros.com

they made me a special set, 3in wide for a lesser price..

course that was September 2006!!.. wow..

Nice load of parts. How is the grille, are you happy with it. Is there any imperfections such as dents or scratches, does the chrome look as good as they say?

Grill is perfect no imperfections chrome has a blue look so there is no koper in it
but nice and shiny

Sam found some nice wheel tubs in a ford f100 61
Some on has a old bed of a 61 were I can cut them out ?
