Where can I get a brake dust shield?

The driver's side one on my '94 has a good sized section that's rotted away. Is there any place I can find one besides the junkyard?

I'll try to stop by Napa tomorrow after work and see if they've got anything.

The junkyard wont really be the cheapest option after figuring the time I'd have to take off from work to go there, then all the time taking the rotor, caliper, and everything else off to get to it which is why I'd rather not go there.

I only checked Autozone and LMC truck (my usual sources for odd parts) so far.

I'll bet the listing NAPA has is going to be for the little frisby looking disk that is supposed to keep brake dust off the wheels.

That will have to come from a dealer, JY, Bronco Graveyard, NPD, LMC.

I went to the dealership. They were $60 a pop but he gave them to me for something like $44 each.

I've been running without shields on both sides for several years, with no ill effects.

Sure, they look nice, but I've lately been questioning their exact purpose.

Could save a bunch of money by running without them.

I don't have them either, but they are obsolete & unavailable for '80-'88 vehicles.
I think most useful for keeping water off the rotors.

the shields were designed to keep mud and snow from packing up against the rotors and calipers.

By the way, if you are interested in ride quality unloaded then you probably don't want the Bilstiens 70-624 (especially the silvers that are meant for more aggressive off-road use).70-540 Bilstien tunes to provide best ride when the truck is ladened with weight. I've hear Rancho shocks provide better ride empty.
Impressive write-up, BUT, way off topic......

I thought about new ones for my 87 so I wrote down the part numbers that were stamped in the shields E7TA2K005BB and 004BB. If I get up to a Ford dealer today I'll check further.

Sorry for reviving an old thread, but to everyone who took off their splash shields, doesn't the wheel seal behind the inner bearing seal against the shields? What's the back of that seal sealing against without the splash shields in place?
