How'd you think I got the other 3? lol. Looking at the remnants, the screw was mostly eaten through by rust. Only about 2/3 of the shank left.

dang... wish I'd seen this site before I got a kit for an F250... made it work, but the bends weren't even close to right for the intermediate line. axles and master to ABS were right on...

Can you explain this a little better ? The sticker on my Curt hitch says 1,200lbs tongue weight either way. Where did you see the 1,800lb (wd) weight rating ? If you saw this on the hitch itself, or in literature you got with your Curt hitch ? If so, do you have a part number for the hitch ? I'd like to see if something has changed since I bought mine.

I replaced my factory hitch with a Curt, but used grade 8 3/4" bolts on mine with no drilling, even though they were slightly larger than the metric. Might be an option?

Thanks ! Very interesting.... same part number as the one I installed two years ago, but rated for 600lbs more tongue weight. I will need to get an answer from Curt if any structural changes were made.

Nokia tires are some of the best around.

I plugged my onboard trickle charger in just in case its low. Only moved it once in the last week and might want to drive it. But the last few days I've been driving the convertible since it's been so nice! 55f and sunny can't beat it!!

you hear that a lot, 674 shipped for all 4 in 265/70r18. Pretty good deal for E tires imho.

Upgraded my brake controller. I've had this Tekonsha for a while but my Super Duty came with a good controller so I never installed it. Ex had a bottom of the line cheapo.

Changed the gear lube in my rear axle after break-in with the new 4.56 gears and TrueTrac. Used Redline 75W-140 NS which doesn't have any limited slip friction modifiers. Installed a Solid brand nodular iron cover. Unfortunately after finishing the oil change noticed the new pinion seal is leaking.

What did you use for a break in gear lube?

It is a whole lot easier to remove the ABS sensor on top of the pumpkin and pour your gear lube in. Unless you like making a mess by adding it in from the side there.

Thanks for the tip Nicmike. It was actually fairly mess free as the tubing I used was such a tight fit in the hole that nothing leaked back when filling except at the end when removing the tubing.
