What did you do to the X today?
Sounds great, we will need some pictures, of course!
Between the new 34"-ish tires and the 4.56 gears I think you will be happy with the improved towing power application, deep gears are the best thing you can do for a V-10 that tows heavy. And I really can't say enough good things about the tunes, love em!

Decided to drive the rig into work which i never do. Started up the incline of the bridge over troubled waters and that's when my trouble began. Fuel light came on then almost immediately died. While coasting to the shoulder, I tried starting it in neutral but nothing. Called 911 to report being partially in the lane, on the bridge, to which they sent the freeway service patrol. It took them a while to figure out if and how to tow it off. Dropped it off right at the diesel pump, and after putting a few gallons in it, it fired right up. Guess my gauge is a little off or i have a floating layer of garbage in the tank.

Fired my Ex up last night after rebuilding injectors, 30 over nozzles, resealing the entire HPOP system, updated stand pipes, new Powermax turbo, adjustable fuel pressure cover, updated engine harness, updated FICM harness, new Ultra FICM with Atlas 40 tune, updated oil cooler cover, updated turbo oil feed, updated turbo drain, updated turbo boot and a bunch of other things. Time to get started on the transmission upgrade, V and B springs, rear sway bar, stainless brake lines, drilled/slotted Powermax rotors and towing brakes on all four corners. While I do that I’ll rebuild and paint both axles and reseal/change all the bearings and install Warn manual hubs. I’ve been busy working solo!
Please elaborate! I thought Garrett was supposed to be one of the best. What happened with yours to make you think that low of them? I hope I didn’t waste $1100 on junk.
Just scrap that rear bumper, seems the 05 rust badly. There is a guy on CL in Romeo who sells later model F250/350 rear bumpers for $150. I have the part numbers for the restrained so your rear parking aid sensors will work. PM me if you like.

The stage 1 powermax was the biggest thing I regret doing to the Excursion. It is now a paperweight until I have the funds to completely gut it and put a real quality parts in it's housing.
