Replaced the belt tensioner due to it jumping around with a Dayco from the local auto parts store. The Dayco was jumping around too! So I took it back and ordered a Ford unit from Riff Raff. I also got a belt and idler. While it was all apart I grabbed and shook the water pump pulley and it has wayyyyyy too much play in it. So guess what else I get to do?! Doing the pump, thermostat, hoses and the oil cooler reseal. Good times await
Man I just cringe at those pics.
It's totally 100% not a problem out here and I just couldn't imagine having that kind of investment in anything on four wheels knowing it just goes to crap without major upkeep.
I met a guy who moved out here a year ago or so. His jeep liberty was rotten thru the rockers & already replaced the brake lines. It was like an 05 or something.
Do they salt the roads because of the hilly terrain, dense population or what? We get snow here in Oregon and people just deal with or stay home.
That genuinely sucks!
