What did you do to the X today?
Yep thats the one. They refused to mount them at first because i didnt buy from them, so i said well ill just go elsewhere no worries and a guy came back and said he'd do it for $100 cash. Should have left at that point...so i dont think theres any going back. Either way, i dont want them touching my tires or wheels again

It's not a curse and I wouldn't expect you to always do things right and fast, in fact you have done a fantastic job in view of the circumstances. I was amazed with the work you have done on the exhaust. Lots of men don't know an end wrench from a box wrench and you have shown them all up.

i was able to keep the Ex clean today.not easy. but i think she will see some garage time because they are calling for...wait for it...SNOW! friday night it could actually stack up! if it happens it would be the latest snow fall on record. i'm seriously getting tired of this winter from hell.
Don't think it's the COP if it's only missing under load. How does it idle? A bad COP won't provide a spark, and that's going to be constant regardless of engine load. Your COPs could care less about engine loading, they just step up voltage. Also it's not uncommon on these trucks to have no CEL but trouble codes present; non-OBD-II compliant trucks will never set a CEL for a misfire.
If it's misfiring at idle you just have to unplug them one by one until you don't hear a difference. That one is your bad COP, because it wasn't working before or after you unplug it.

i second that, all my missing issues were under load. idle and heavy throttle it was smooth. ended up replacing all the coils twice. first time with cheap ebay coils..after about 6 months they started failing. finally bought 10 motorcraft coils and now alittle over a year(and 10k) later she purrs like a kitten.
MIA lost. No idea where it went at all. Opened the bag when I got the headers, went to put all the lock washers on today, n one is gone... O well I need different bolts for the collectors and the flang for the cat
Well, almost Excursion related...
Gonna have to drive it tomorrow, been fighting the F350 for the last two days. Thought it was bad fuel, or fuel related, but after Heet, Injector cleaner, new fuel filter, new fuel and for good measure a new PCV, the truck is still missing under load. Really bad below 2000 RPM. Had a co-worker put his scanner on it, but with no CEL, there were no codes to read, and all the other readings (O2, Cats, etc) was showing great!
Sooooo, I think that I have a COP going bad...
Any good Ideas how to tell which one?
Thanks!
Garry

I actually did that since mine was fine at idle and pulling them one at a time didn't make a difference. Figured I'd just start at the front on one side and work my way around. Got it right on the first cylinder.
(I had already done plugs and boots so I knew it was a coil.)
