I didn't think I had them either, turns out the bulbs were just burnt out. I think the light in the handle is the reflection of my flash. But thanks for the mod idea. Now I'm going to go nuts trying to figure that out.

On a side note, in taking the bulbs out of the center console I noticed the flat metal wires that the bulb comes in contact with kinda fell apart. Any ideas on how to fix that or would it be easier to just replace?

I'd be interested to know what he used for the light fixture, too. It needs to not only hide, but be impervious to fingers/fingernails as one uses the handle, and to be waterproof. Since a new hole in the door is likely, it needs to seal so that it's not the next new place to want to rust.

Got home from a road trip 3700 miles Colo to Ga and back. Have to say the old girl still runs like the day I drove her off the lot 11 year next month

I finally upgraded from my f150 to this hoss

i turned my excursion into a pinto for alittle bit this morning. needed to fill up all my gas cans. 18 gallons later i was worried about being rear ended haha
