Yuppers, a small car would be all fine and dandy but wont work for my needs. I have 4 kids and pull 12k+ trailers and hunt and camp in remote areas.

 

Pumps around here only let you put in $100 at a time.

 

Same here. Some stop at $120 though.

 

That just makes me into a mad man. If you are going to charge me $4.00 a gallon and I am going to fill up when I am near empty, its sure going to take more than $100.00. At half the pumps I go to when I swipe my card a second time to fininsh it wants me to take my card to the cashier. Then I get to wait in line for everyone buying lotto and smokes. The convienence of paying at the pump. I am getting PO'd just thinking about it now.

Many of the pumps around here are still $75 and when I truly need a fill up I must swipe 3 times! lol. And the people inside drive me mad also. All around DFW everywhere when I needed to fill up they'd say I had to tell them an exact amount. Well Hell, I don't know! You think I've got a calculator in my head? Just let me fill up! At least in west Tx they've got sense and if I walk in the CC and tell them I want to fill up they just turn the damn pump on. They should really figure out a way to let you set your own preauthorization OR have separate lines inside for gas only purchases and customers who want to buy stuff so if all you want is the pump turned on then you don't have to wait in the line twice.

Ive been saving fuel cuz my X is broke down. lol..My alternator died a few days ago so i just orderd a DC POWER high output alt and a couple yellowtop batteries.
Meanwhile while i wait for the brown truck.....

 

What did I do to my ex today??? I replaced the ball joints, $1700. I have had better days...

We are still around 3.45 for regular, and our pumps have a 300.00 limit, but then again we don't pump our own, at least aren't supposed to, I at least let him set the pump and put it in the filler.

 

When I filled up this past weekend, it was $4.09. Totaled about $136.

I need to get the black one filled up soon too, and the fuel light just came on yesterday. Not looking forward to that- hopefully Sam's Club has a little better deal on it. I normally don't go there because I don't have the membership, but I'll borrow my mom's card for this to hopefully save quite a bit on it.

 

i just put in $120 and i only needed 33ish gallons. sitting round $3.69 but it was not too long ago were were at $4.50.

had somebody comment today "how much do you spend a week on gas!?" i reliped eh i dont know its always over $100...the look on there face was priceless!!
