I mounted my spare on the factory roof racks with some bright orange ratchet straps I got from big lots.
I know what ya'll are thinking, the factory roof bars suck. While that is true, I have a Florida truck, there is massive sun/paint damage on the roof. I am going to get a body shop to fix it then get a Safari rack this summer some time. For now it is nice to have my spare without loosing cargo space. Some 315's fit in the factory location, my 315 does NOT fit there, it almost fits.. but no dice.

Haven't really done anything yet but planning on it.
However, I was driving the other day and heard a pop and then now something under the hood is making a sound, however I'm pretty sure it's not from the motor. The sound is coming from an area close to the fire wall on the drivers side and is making a hum/whining sound upon idling and the beginning of accelerating but then goes away at cruising speed and comes back when coming to a stop.
---Any ideas on what this could be?
Also I must admit and hate to say this but think I might have left my right rear window/vent open the other week when we had some rain
, and now it's not opening. The left one still works though.
And I'm almost to 100k and once my semester is over (3 weeks) then I'll probably be getting the new tires/ hopefully rims too

That one is easy to find. I was asking Tim about this "members only" forum or threads that I have read about. Maybe I have been there, but just didn't realize that I was privileged.
