So far they are still holding up but it has been less than a week but my dirt road is still rough and no rattling yet. I will know better in a year how they are.
Next rattle to take care of is the front sway bar

Swapped my drivers side window switches with a supposed NOS ford part, i mean the box is dated for sure, and it feels a bit more clicky than my old switches, but it also might be slightly used and cleaned well. Never can tell with ebay, but when the current part is on an unknown eta semi permanent backorder dont have a lot of options. Not many new OEM switches out there right now....

ops check good though and appears to have fixed my issue

next will be vent window switches when they arrive. Once the roof heats up, they dont work any more until parking in the shade for a while or letting it sit overnight.....so something heat related. New OEM were 16/ea after shipping + tax

When you take the master cylinder off the booster, you will see a small rod. With a pair of pliers in your right hand, grip the serrated rod, with a 7mm wrench in your left hand, turn the nut counter clockwise, you want to lengthen the rod. Try a half turn, then go for a test drive. If you turn it too far, the brakes will always grab, you don’t want that. There is a thread around here somewhere with pictures. I have done this on 3 different trucks with good success. The only reason to do this is if you have a lot of pedal travel before the brakes are applied. I adjusted mine 1 1/2turns, brakes feel good now.

Thanks for the response.

It's probably too late, but I was going to suggest, since you also had to replace 25% of the lug nuts anyway, that you switch to the fine thread studs and nuts, as Ford later found it best to do.

I only mention this now for other readers who are considering new studs to preempt a problem like Stebs had.

Replaced this piece that supports the air intake tube that connects to the IAC valve. Original broke when I installed the new IAC. My local dealership said it was obsolete but they located two down in Arizona.

Fixed a broken exhaust pipe. It cracked between the cat and muffler, right at the up bend.

Fabricated a replacement 20 degree bend.
Failure was caused by stress on the pipe. The hanger at the front of the cat was disconnected so the weight of the cat bouncing around slowly weakened the joint.

Truck is is super quiet compared to what Ive been accustomed. I think it slowly gave way so I didnt notice how loud it had become.

Shop wanted to to charge me $100 for the fix. I repaired our with scrap material and 4 hours of my time. Win/Win

Broken exhaust in front of the muffler

Fixed, before welding
