Installed a Rough Country 3" lift and attempted to fix my no horn or cruise issue with a clock spring. Kit was great love the new ride height and quality, but still no horn or cruise!
I wasn't aware this was an option, I thought it just bolted directly to the frame. I'll have to give this a try as my lower bolt lines up exactly with the leaf spring and I also have nasty clunking all the time.
I got the idea off this forum years and years ago...2011 maybe? lol
There are 2 bolts. they bolt it to the frame rail when inside the frame rail. undo them, flip the mount to under the frame rail and re-tighten. it worked out very well. I too was having that clunk
Scott, thanks for all of the great NH info, we will be chewing it over during this trip.
Definitely spend a little time on youtube looking at some of my suggestions. It will be very different up there than a few years ago when you stayed down near Dover / Durham. If you guys decide on somewhere else, there is always next year !
Use two stacks of 16" 2x4 blocks to lower and raise the tank. Go side to side removing or adding blocks. Thank me later...

It actually came out fairly easy. Once out, I put it on my creeper to move it around. I ran the fuel level way down so the tank itself is not too heavy. That steel tub on the other hand.....speaking of which, anyone have a decent one laying around? Mine is fairly rusty and does have a hole in the driver rear corner area. It had about 8 pounds of dirt, rocks and rust in it.
Anyway, I'll do the hutch mod tomorrow and get the tank ready, swap the hitch and then Monday call around and see what I can find. If nothing, I'll put some protective covering in the rusty spots and use what I have for now.
I'll post some pics tomorrow, getting ready for a hockey game.
