Ouch ! That is totally something my son would be guilty of.

I have a piece of steel in my left thigh from 10 years ago when I was tapping on the back of an axe with a hammer, splitting some small pieces of firewood to use as kindling. Well, never hit a piece of hardened steel with another piece of hardened steel... I knew better, butttttttt. It was so deep, removing it would have meant real surgery, so the hospital decided to give me a tetanus shot and leave it there.

The upside is I can run my metal (nail) detecting wand over my thigh and make it go off to entertain people !

Heres my story: After fixing my exhaust, being under the truck on a lift, I started looking at my hitch. Its rusty as hell. I will be replacing it with a Curt, already ordered. I'll be going to the dealer for the hardware. Im doing the job myself, absolutely capable. I've done some research and here are my questions:

1. Re Hutch Mod, should I do this while the tank is out or just replace the pickup? Looking at the strictly diesel kit.
2. Can I take apart the mixer and clean it out or is it a "sealed" unit?
3. Michigan Truck: I have a new filler unit but not connection hose. What do I get? Read housedad's threads, still not sure.
4. Who's going to help?....anyone....anyone

Absolutely do it while it is out.

Yes, the mixer will come apart. You have to work at it a bit, but it comes apart.

Whatever you get, make sure it is diesel fuel rated...

I just helped...

Painted grille

Had my grille touched up with a repaint and went with black for the insert - I like how it turned out.

I have an 05 Pontiac (Toyota) Vibe (Matrix) AWD, it has been a good car. My son has it at college now. Is the Matrix new to your family?

Easter Sunday, 4/21/19, I replaced the water pump on our 01 7.3 excursion. Original had 153000 on it. Lot of shaft play, the impeller was starting to rub on the inner plate.
