What did you do to the X today?
If my 3.9L V6 dodge dakota quad cab can go for 400,000 miles, surely my EX with 190K will last a very long time.

I replaced my broken parking brake cable. The front cable broke but I ordered the middle cable too so I wouldn't have to fight with the rusty connector. But the new connector was junk, it kept popping open when I pushed the brake pedal all the way down. Pictures for reference:
Notice how much more metal there is in the original connector and how much thicker it is. Also, it's rounded to keep the cable ends from popping out. I tried squeezing the new one as tight as possible around the cable ends and it just kept popping every time the pedal was pushed all the way down. The new one was a Dorman. This isn't the first time I've seen a poor quality product from them.
Getting that guy out wasn't fun. But such is life in Rusty Truck Land.

I didn't take any pics and now it is dark, but... I had some extra daylight hours since we got back from DC fairly early. I decided to fix some of my ground issues. When I installed the aux fuse panel I ran the power and ground directly to the battery and I have had issues with "noisy" grounds. I ran my grounds to the chassis and then cleaned up all my battery connections and cleaned of any build up and added washers where they were needed.
Hopefully this will solve some of the issues I have been having.
