I would HATE a manual daily driver....

I'm not a fan of manual transmissions, I can drive them well it's just way too much work.

One of the reasons I parted ways with my Focus SVT. Manual in traffic wasn't fun. Out on the open road it was a blast. As for mustangs, I would hold out for a 5.0 coyote equipped car. They are really that much better!

If I had the money for another play car it would be a 2015+ 5.0 Convertible automatic Mustang. After driving a 2016 Ecoboost convertible in Seattle I loved the car. But in all reality it's a 2 seater car!!

Of if I can find a 91-93 Fox body convertible 5.0 auto i'd take that too....

Yep, with a mild shift improvement, you can outrun manuals all day long. I do know a paddle shifted 6 speed ls3 vette that certainly shifts faster than I could with a stick shift. That's OK though, some dudes just have to have a stick in their hands

-Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Airbags (88132, Gauge and Rocker Switch mounted below dash)

Drives and rides AMAZING compared to before. My entire front end and stock suspension was in BAAAAAAAD shape when everything got torn apart. The Ex hasn't been under the knife like this since I bought it and I didn't realize it was in such terrible shape. Extremely happy with the end result.
Ton of work! hate to see the bill.... good job! A healthy truck is a happy truck!

So, I am still a member of the Ex family, as the dealership decided they did not value the Ex as much as I (and the market) do.

Oh well, their loss!

Been there! Dealer offered me $3000 for my old Ex. I sold it for $8,000 cash after I took my lift, tires, and black bumpers off. (Put stock stuff back on)

Took delivery of my new Torklift 20K Superhitch. https://www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Hit...cc-onlyreviews
I was running on 6 hours of sleep in 55 hours so I just tucked it away in the garage without even opening the box to take a peek. The box on this 110lb package is in perfect condition so I didn't feel that I needed to inspect it before the FedEx guy left.
I will be doing a product review and install thread on this hitch once I have the time to take my time and get it done with lots of pics. A lot of what I do will be a repeat of Eric's install thread but I have been asked to provide some product feedback by Torklift. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...installed.html

I've read about folks getting hitches and other heavy items delivered with torn up boxes and having hardware packets and small parts missing due to the box damage, no problems with this one, the box was perfect after it's travels from WA to PA.
They do look pretty cool and tough as all get out, but my main concern was getting a new hitch that was rated for how I'm using our EX, our TT's TW is over the stock and Curt hitch's ratings. I think we will be good for a long time with this 20K hitch and the big TT.

How is the hip coming along Art?

I like the hitch for its increased capacity, but can think of no configuration where both receivers could be used at the same time. Anybody have plans for using them both?

I don't actually plan to do it but I could use my hitch basket that rises above the receiver in the top hole with a load of whatever on it and then run my 4 bike rack in the bottom hole. The inside two positions would be blocked by the basket but the 2 outside slots could still hold bikes.
In reality, I'll use the 2 holes more for additional height adjustability, even with my adjustable 3 ball drawbar all the way down my utility trailer rides nose high behind the lifted EX, that lower hole should help some with that.
