I put upgraded 08+ mirrors on! Love these mirrors and how they look. I don't know how people drive with the older style towing mirrors.

Going down I had the dogs and some tools in the back including a small air compressor, we hit one bump so hard the compressor relief valve let loose, the dogs and wife just about lost it.

Fort Wilderness is an awesome campground, full hookup and 50 AMP service. Washers, dryers and the bus can take you everywhere.

If you want to get to the Magic Kingdom faster after 4 PM, take the bus to the settlement, take the Magic Kingdom bus and not the ferry, it will get you there in almost 1/2 the time.

There was another EX from Texas there with an old travel trailer.

The Fort is a little pricey but a great experience.

Had about 1000 miles on my rear end rebuild, so I pulled the cover off to have a look inside and everything looked great. So cleaned out as much of the cheap oil as I could and refilled with Amsoil.

Yup they are. It'd be nice to have power telescoping and power fold but that would just be a luxury and kind of unnesecary.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that.

I swapped in the '08 mirrors I've had for the Ex for awhile now, just before my 2 day, 1,100 mile jaunt down to and back from SoCal.

I only just recently bought her. So first thing was a full fluid and filter change accompanied with a little TLC for the front end.

She'll be getting an 05 makeover down the road, but at least she already looks better than when i got her.

What's inside common fuels, solvents and cleaners?

Sharing some info from another website; thought might be of interest here.

Drilled 32 holes in the new wheels for the Jeep. Had some tire slipping on the wheels to fix.

What did you do to the X today?

So I've been hearing some squeaks and feeling an occasional vibration since hitting a nasty pothole on the FDR drive 2 weeks ago. When I hit it I definitely heard a clunk or bang or something. So I spent the morning at the shop diagnosing. Passenger upper ball joint, tie rod end and shock are all gone. Funny thing is that's the only ball joint that's aftermarket (with a zerk fitting). The other 3 are all Ford and seem to be original to the truck. 212k miles seems like a lot for a ball joint. The shock is a Rancho rs5000 series, it's relatively new, the po put them on just before I bought the truck a little over a year ago and it's leaking bad. Anyone know how long they warranty their shocks? Am I better off upgrading both front shocks to the 9000 series or the Bilsteins? The rs5000s seem a little wimpy for a truck this size and weight.

And since you all love pics, here you go:
