Oh yeah, stopped at the local transfer station and did a free weigh of my truck, since I need to weigh with the camper sometime soon. Not sure why I'm surprised...... but, holy crap 8,540 lbs with 2/3 fuel, dog, son and me in it.
Man, that's a sweet garage.
What made you decide to use the lift with ramps instead of the ones that stick under the frame ?
I'm a little leary of 2 post lifts. Don't have much time and experience around lifts in general, so this seems safer and more foolproof for me. It has the rolling scissor jacks, so I can do anything on this lift except pull the engine cradle on a FWD car. Not a likely project for me anyway. I'm thrilled with it so far! Expecting some boxes for the EX soon.
So I just hooked the Ex to my utility trailer I use to haul junk. Making a dump run tomorrow with it.
In other news, the '69 Cougar will be finished and delivered to us tomorrow from the body shop, I'm so freaking excited, pics to follow of course!
In other, other news the tags are almost up on the Oldsmobile so I decided to get personal plates for it. I think it might stop the most annoying question I get lol
I have to find my old weigh ticket from my F350. I'm thinking it was 7,700, which included the tongue weight of my full dump trailer, cap, some chainsaws, and a bunch of other related tools. I'm thinking that makes my Ex well over 1000 lbs more than the F350, which is what surprises me.
Working on the new pontoon today so we can take it on its maiden voyage tomorrow. Wife says she needs to see me drive it around a bit before she gets in so she knows it won't sink.
