EBPV Delete

EBPV was leaking, so deleted it... started this project last week, but I didn't catch the need for a Garrett High Flow Outlet to replace the butterfly valve and rod... had to wait a few days for shipment.

Then the starter died... sigh. Took the starter off, went and hunted down the receipt from 2007 and headed to O'reilly Auto Parts. The guy at the counter said, "Wow thats big. What'd you take it off of?"

The next comment came when they plugged it into the tester and started the test sequence... "that doesn't sound good". I have to say, I don't think I've ever heard a starter make those sounds.

Best part was it was a warranty swap with 0 dollars out of pocket.

Lol,

my work internet screws up and hangs when loading so I constantly double post. Leave it if you like though.

It's kind of a small thing, really. But it irritated the crap out of me.
I used gorilla glue for the one in my passenger side door. Still holding up.

I installed a dimmer switch on my 20" bumper light bar... Now I can run it all the time without any issues.

Just bought an sctx4 from Quicktricks. Can't wait to plug it in and bring this truck to life.

That's great. I love the attention to details. I can't stand seeing rust on the underside of trucks.

Good thing that you live in sunny Florida and not snowy New England!

As you see, I can't stand rust either. I purchased the X out of Detroit and it came with rust everywhere, but I got a great deal for it. I'm hoping I will have the front undercarriage ready for Rudy's diesel show next weekend here in NC.

That's a messy job for sure. I started my rust project outside but it was quickly halted after my neighbor complained about a plume of rust finding its way into their garage.

What are you using to treat the rust? I used Ospho rust converter and then finished it up with POR-15. I've been pretty happy with the results.

Was about to install this:

When I discovered I did not have an air intake hose. Oh well I guess that Riffraff order just grew a little!
