Found the alt charging even when the light was on (so its an issue with the truck I guess). Hows that for service! So heres before and after:
Replace the alternator before it leaves you stranded!

Check out Alternators for some options from DC Power and Leece Neville on our site.

YES! I was having so many issues with my charging system. I had to return 4-5 autozone alternators before finally going with a DC 270 from FICM. Carbon Coupe, make sure you get the wire upgrade kit as well.

I love the look of my rig with no running boards. That was a surprise to me. I didn't expect it to improve the look of my rig. It just looks a lot cleaner.

Now you see them.

Now you don't

Very nice. I love the way they look but have never pulled the trigger on them.

Nice job guys. I see you guys have been busy.

I too want the Amp boards but I'm too cheap, lol. But know that the wife is driving the Red EX she wants some changes to it.

99% sure paint it black
Chrome grill and billet insert
Upgraded headlights
20" chrome wheels
No lift or agressive tires
AMP boards
Backup camera setup

Should be fun.

Yes it is. I've had a ton of cars but never a Mustang before.
It needs interior work and carb work and a good buff job.

Also ordered up a 5 star tuning sct deal for the V10 motorhome! Pretty excited to feel the difference in a little power but apparently WAAAY better transmission characteristics.

That is a clean looking stang!

I love the power running boards on my F-150 but one thing I noticed really fast was how beat the bottom of the doors get without a running board protecting them.

Installed b-quiet to my front floorboard and laid second skin heatwave pro over the transmission hump. Removed the seats and cleaned the carpet when I got home yesterday, laid the b quiet/heatwave last night and reinstalled everything this afternoon. This and the recent second skin/heatwave on my roof has quieted the X down a lot. Not sure if the 6.0 is as loud in the cab as the 7.3 but it is borderline annoying. I know- pictures or it didn't happen so I am attaching 03x's thread that cost me a lot of time and money w the roof and floor insulation(big thanks to 03x by the way). Mine looked like this but probably not as neat.

Ex has had a busy week, pulled the camper 250+ miles to the mountains, took us hiking in the NC and SC mountains and tomorrow we are making a day trip to Atlanta.

Truck pulls the hills perfectly and the Hellwig really makes a difference on the tweisty turns. Had compliments on it at the campground, the Ex is right at home in the woods.

Funny u say that. That's why I put running boards on my pickup, keep the doors looking better

Yes and no. There was a hole that needed to be drilled. The last hole by the rear wheel. I was in a hurry to get it to the stereo shop so they could do the wiring so I just sorta skipped it. So far there is no reason for me to go back and drill the hole to add one more bolt. So I am going to leave it like it is.

The boards are crazy expensive at 1300$ and the wiring was 160$. The wiring just looked like a pain judging by the instructions so I thought 160$ was a fair price.

Definitely a fair price for the wiring. I kind of new the boards were $1k+. Well worth it though.

Today- I removed the passenger front brakes, knuckle and axle shaft to replace the U-joint, ball joints and seals. Going to need a unit-bearing soon as well.
