My Ex sat in the driveway and I spent all day in the F-250 making money...

Soooooo.....I just ordered X-code springs from ATS. Having them shipped to a freight forwarder in Washington so they will ride the boat up here and i'll get them at work, probably 2 weeks from now...I hate waiting!

cleaned the throttle body and MAF. Ordered new plugs and boots which will hopefully go on next week. I am also shopping around for new front bump stops, as at least one is disintegrating....

If you ever want to come to Ohio to race give me a shout. We have a really good 12 race Enduro series that has some of the best singletrack in the country.

FIrst thing I thought while reading was "damn, shipping is going to suck." I guess freight isn't too bad.

All in all it'll be about $100 or so in total freight. UPS to get it to WA was $77 the boat ride should only be $20-25ish. I'll know for sure once they show up and I get billed.

My EX got a brand new battery today!
The 23 month old Diehard 880 CCA that almost always stays plugged into a Battery Tender went totally dead on our vacation, the new one still has 13 months left on the original 36 month free replacement warranty. I will be having it load tested this time next year.
Sears no longer offers their prorated warranty after the 36 Month full replacement warranty, due to this I really don't see the reason to go to Sears for my batteries any more. Costco and Walmart batteries both seem to have decent reputations and an easier return and exchange policy.

Out of the box the System doesnt work for Excursion's. And to be fair BD didnt advertise the tap shifter as working for excursions. Working with BD's engineering dept we got it working after a few reprograms. It was a pretty simple process, they email me a updated program, I unplugged the module and reprogramed it on my computer. Going forward they will offer them for excursions though.

I have control of all 5 gears, I can make it stay in any gear I want. I can keep the Torque converter locked up in all 5 gears...constantly or not. And best of all the engine brake. Its a more effective setup than the factory exhaust brake on my 2016 6.7. We had some hickups along the way but overall Im happy with it.

Its not something I'd run or turn on every single day, but towing up a mountain pass or coming down it...its perfect for that.

Also when its off it doesnt effect the custom trans tuning of my SCT.

Even easier to return tools to Lowes/Home Depot than to Sears. Plus they are easier to find.

What an ordeal.... Don't have your keys fall out of your pocket in the middle of a snowstorm only to notice after you've been in class for 3 hours.

They're long gone, had to get a drive home and back in to get a spare key in a RAV4. Talk about unsettling.

Replaced my GPCM with the new one this afternoon...... didn't seem to make a difference with my non-glow plugs. Could ALL 8 really be bad ??

Last week I replaced my Interstates (installed by the PO) with a couple new EverStart Maxx's from WM. I have the Everstarts in my 97 as well as one in my dump trailer. All I can say is I've had good service out of all the ones I've owned, plus it's convenient since there is a store a couple miles away.
