What did you do to the X today?
Not too EXciting but bought some Goodyear mats from Costco today. On sale for $14, normally $18 for a set of 4. Driver's fit great. Passenger's needed a little trimming.
Put the long strip one in the 3rd row because that's where my messy ones sit. Doesn't fit perfectly though. Did the Ex come with a 3rd row mat?
Also bought a cushy bed for the pooch.

I would recommend removing the carpeted mats as that can be a safety hazard for the driver. Think Toyota and the prius that doesn't stop a couple years ago.
Today I installed 4 new, OEM Motorcraft shocks and steering stabilizer.
I can't get over what a dramatic difference this made in the front end of my Ex. I think one shock was shot....but I'm guessing after 11 years, it was worth replacing them all...regardless of mileage. In the fact, the steering stabilizer was really bad compared to the new one.

Drove mine today because it still has the winter tires on. We went and checked on the Cougar, it's painted!! they are working on the final cut and buff. Waiting for new door hinge bushings and pins before we can hang those. The new carpet is in and it's all starting to go back together now.
and this is becoming all too normal when it snows...everyone forgets how to drive!

I lost a tire that really messed up my fender and inner fender. Searched the salvage yards to find a new inner fender. Took the fender off and tried to mold the bottom of it to resemble its original shape. Its was all under the plastic molding so it still looked great. It was a big job and took a ton of time. The end result was great. Moral of the story is check your tires often. Just because the tread is good doesn't mean the sidewall won't let go and destroy a lot of stuff.
Bad tire trashed my lower fender on the drivers side. Ripped it like paper.
Getting it close. It was a process that took a lot of patience.
New inner fender and got the fender installed and mounted on the bottom. The whole repair was 50$ and my entire Saturday. Turns out I am a horribly slow body man.

I race in Ohio. Mostly Enduro and run 30+ A.
I run the VCHSS or ECEA series, most of which are in VA and PA. Harescrambles and enduros. Just a lowly mid-C rider, running in the 200 class but will move to 30+ after August.
