Torqued 7 out of 10 plugs today. Also installed the o-rings on the coil packs. I have two more and truck goes to the shop next week for the threadsert install.
Gearwrench swivel sockets compared to coil pack. 8" and 6" should be enough, but they come in a kit.
A couple of the COP's looked like this.
O-ring and die electric grease
Injector clip that was in a spark plug hole. Interesting finding it in there.
Skip- we don't need one because there is a seal on shaft side. I used RTV black on my cover with out issue. I don't see why you can't use the lube locker gasket though. I believe @WE3ZS has done so already.

I'll have to dry fit the gasket to see how it looks. If nothing eat i can silicon just the cover side to the lu e locker gasket then it would be removable from rear end anyhow.
Coop has it right Skip, I used just the Lube Locker reusable gasket on my '08 finned cover about 4 years ago and it is doing fine, no drips and no RTV!
I have to go get this soon. May have to tow it with the EX.....just for fun.
Ooooo nice Falcon wagon!
The comet did sit nicer before on the old wheels but the new taller ones makes it 4x4 stance. I agree dropping the whole thing front to back like 2" would be great! Maybe I will look into it more this summer when I have time. Maybe a coil out of the front and a couple 2" blocks for the rear?
