No, yours are chrome and polished, he likes his rig equipped like a patrol car in a city with only $5000 left in the budget to buy an SUV

Drove the beastie to work, it rolled 190K. I think I need to replace my steering damper. Is a dual needed?

Thanks! I'll check out about shipping them somewhere while I'm down on your side of the border for a wedding.

Now for everyone else that isn't a friendly unicorn

Under fire from all sides Nate tucks and rolls behind cover. He then takes the weights that are conveniently mounted outside his wheels and melts them down into bullets. His hubcap with a hole functions as a crude barrel, and since he no longer needs his AC system he uses that to provide the pressure needed to fire the newly created bullet.

He does his dirty work, and then promptly apologizes as all Canadians do.

But in the end, he doesn't need to use the bullet. He knows that the pain of watching what he is doing to his Excursion is more pain than he could ever inflict with a bullet.

Cheers,

Nate

That reminds me, I need to swap the cracked headers off my Ex yet. One primary cracked off the collector. But Hedman sent me new ones. Lol.

I still have my XLT 8 hole rims in the garage and I too LOVE my XLT cloth seats, those seats were one of the major reasons I picked my particular EX when I was shopping! So much more comfy than the leather, my Chevy pickup that I was getting out of had leather and I was so done with the seats feeling cold and hard in the Winter and hot and sticky in the Summer and then you also have the cracking to deal with!
We have bought 2 new cars this year and opted out of the leather on both of them too, not my call either. Both my son and wife checked out both interiors on their respective models and both chose the cloth for the better comfort. Maybe we are weird..........?

I had a dual and went back to a single. Duals required more effort to steer with no benefit IMO. https://www.ford-trucks.com/g/picture/851452

I agree Sean, I use a cheap OEM style replacement stabilizer with true 35" tires and everything is peachy, duals do look cool though.

Nope, I bet the Texas sun would have been a lot easier on cloth

Unbelievable how many people called me a liar when I was trying to sell it saying I had rolled the odometer back due to the seat condition, even though the rest of the truck showed no wear. It was mint when it arrived but had been sitting in the sun for 6 years not being driven... And when my parents got it they didn't do anything about it just drove it...

The result is a very old looking driver's seat that doesn't match the rest of the truck...

However I seem to be changing the shape of the truck pretty quick to match lol

My truck with 42k miles in '13 when I bought it had the cracked leather on the driver seat due to sun out here in NV.

I've actually got brand new leather to put on there and had it for months, It's just a PITA to remove seat, take apart and put the new leather on.

Interesting Octane selections there Russ. Around here we have 87, 89 and 91 at most places with a few still selling some 93. Seems odd to see those ratings in your picture.

The only thing better than XLT 8 hole wheels are the ever elusive 6 hole version. I finally found a fifth one for a spare and it was a friend of mine who was hauling it in for aluminum scrap. Bought him lunch and it was mine.

Don't you miss the fun squeaking noises the back seats make when you go to the drive in with the ol'ady ??
