Put it in line to have the shop look at it. They said it will be Wednesday or Thursday. At least they let me keep it until then. I work next door.

Pulled the DP off and sent it to Jody to reburn for my Singles....

Filled it with $133.47 worth of 87 octane....FOR MY WIFE! Then bought a 30 pack...

 

This week my truck started making a loud medium pitched air sound. Either a big vacuum leak sound or an big exhaust leak.

I conferred with the dealer and they thought it was the Y-pipe, so I changed it. The noise is still there and I am not getting any spool from the turbo. The dealer thinks I am not getting enough pressure to the turbo.

I cannot find a leak. No carbon marks around up pipe connections.

My guess is that the turbo is severely stuck

 

hooked up a set of backup lights. got them to come on with the other backups that are stock, still need to run a extra wire to make them come on anytime i flip a switch.

they are actually on my rotating avatar, i will get some more tho nothing that great, heck just some old lights they get water in them also even tho i covered the back of them with gasket maker, gonna do it again and put a shield over the back.

i figured i can get some of them fancy led backups and replace them sometime.

Got the truck fixed today. Y pipe was misaligned and a sensor had come loose.

 

DP and injectors should be here tomorrow, just watched a few videos on youtube to reinforce FTE attained knowledge and further prep for tomorrows install...
