2010 Job 1 build?

Any input on a Job 1 2010 PSD F250? 2010 is a later model 6.4 so I am sure it is better than an 08. What about the truck as a whole? Any changes through the two model years before?

A 2010 is a job 3 truck. And the difference is better head gasket design and better TCM. The rest of the truck is pretty much the same.

Hmm. The window sticker I was e-mailed says "Job #1 Build Identifier" on it.

Job 1 trucks were built in 2007.

each model year has a Job build number, and they start with 1.

so, yes, a 2010 Job 1 is still better than an 08 Job 3. specifically I can't tell you..

Interesting. I will have to ask about it when I get there. I told the guy I would be there at 10:30am. Tried to go yesterday after work but I didn't get out of the office until 5:30pm. With an hour and a half drive and the dealer closing at 6 it wasn't going to work

The one I am going to check out is a 250 sb cc 4x4 psd lariat. Green/gold two tone, light tan interior, bucket seats, with nav. 3.55's, no step bars, no fx4. If I have any remote chance of getting my payment where I want it this will be a hard one to pass up.

my look at is black, crew, lariat (gray leather), 4x4, 20's, step, fx4. also job 1.

fighting over 5 or 6 yr payments.. $100/mon diff... loose dually.. gain 4x4 (lose 4x2)...

I LOVE my 4x2 dually, except when I get stuck out back..

could go from 4.10 x 17in wheels to 3.55 x 20in wheels.. loose a little startup umpf, but drop rpm from 2300 to 1900..

I work for a company that makes parts for a couple Ford cars. I can tell you Job 1 builds are scrutinized at an elevated level. Lots of important people watch the Job 1 builds.

So I am guessing that they are looking over the process so that they can catch as many problems/mistakes as early as they can?

I figure a job 1 2010 will be far better than a 2008 or 2009 no matter how you look at it. Done deal though, I'm comitted to the purchase
