RRE Dyno and Strip results thread

Ok, I didn't run, but we all need to know. All I know is Adam, Farmboy had best hp on straight fuel at 500 and Cory, Ziggy had best on fuel with help at 508? Robin had the best time on the track with 8.88.

Dyno - 480.27HP/ 762.40TQ

Drag - 9.458 @ 75.182

Best reaction time was .013

I am totally hooked on the strip. That was a freakin' blast. I totally plan on returning next year and going much faster!

I could boost launch at 26-28psi but since I only had a DD tune I would only make 36psi max.. I plan on really going fast next year.

As JD's daughter would say "I fast!"

My best 1/8 mile time- 9.094 sec @ 78.805

My best reaction time was .004 (time slip to prove it) It was on my very first run. I guess I was a little excited.

Dyno: tow tune: 375.49hp/610.79tq
performance tune: 500.69hp/956.77tq

Drag: 9.309 @ 77.039mph

Wife @ the wheel: 10.306 @ 75.528mph

I need to work on my reaction time, you guys have some great times!

Just an FYI for those of you that weren't there, Andrew's numbers were from his '08 F-450 with the 6.4L, crew cab, long bed dually with a fuel tank in back. I'm thoroughly impressed what that thing did with just tunes and no other major mods, and being a 10K+ lb truck!! I think it was the drag slicks that were on it that made it go so fast!! Can't wait till next year to see it run again.

Ron, it was a Dynojet. The guys running it were really good. I've dyno'ed before, but the guys operating it ran the truck. These guys were really helpful and made it a lot of fun.

So.. do I start with my excueses first, or my numbers...

I do have to ask though, did anyone else experience the more you spin, the worst your reaction?
1st run 12.132 reaction 1.144
2nd run 11.781 reaction .617
3rd run 11.96 reaction .791
4th run11.786 reaction .758

My first run I spooled up for.. found out I didnt have 4 wheel drive.

Like Barry stated my low ET was 8.88. It was on the third and last run. It held so I didn't get back on the track. Didn't want to break anything that far from home. I had the smallest truck that went down the track and that is what accounted for my low ET.

Best dyno run was 486/885 in 120R. I think it's time for head studs, valve springs and stronger pushrods.

Adam's 500HP on stage 2 injectors was remarkable. Good job Adam.

Now try being 2wd and manual trans I can't even pull up rpms at the line. I was launching in 2nd gear and still spinning in stock tune
